Str8talking Market Research recruits respondents to take part in paid research undertaken by the clients of Str8talking Market Research.

We always try to use your personal information in a way that is fair and reasonable, and to comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

We aim to be transparent and provide details of how and why we use your personal information.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner`s office, our registration number is: Z3229200.

The information you provide when you register with us is so we can assess your suitability to take part in any market research project and contact you for that purpose only.

You are not obliged to answer any or all of the questions or provide any information you do not feel comfortable giving.

This information will not be passed to any third party or any of our clients without your prior consent.

If we think you may be suitable for a particular market research project we will contact you by telephone, email or text, and if you are available and willing to take part, we usually have to go through a questionnaire designed specifically for that piece of research to assess your suitability. 

We may ask you personal details relating to family life, lifestyle, personal preferences and habits. We may even ask you sensitive questions regarding race, ethnic origin, political beliefs or sexual orientation.  

You are under no obligation to answer any or all of these questions or give any information you do not feel comfortable with.

To ensure we are only acting on the correct information that has been provided by you only, and in accordance with the needs of our clients, please bear in mind that we may request additional information to verify your identity. 

All the information and data we gather via the questionnaire (screener) will be used for that project only. Any information and data gathered for a particular project will be destroyed no later than 3 months after completion of the research.

This information and data is transferred securely between us and our clients, and they are bound by the same GDPR regulations when handling your data. 

All information and data you provide for any individual project will be used for market research purposes only, unless by your prior consent.

The information you provide when registering with Str8talking Market Research is retained by us on the basis that it allows us to continually assess you against the participant needs of our clients for their projects, and it will be retained as long as you do not withdraw your consent. 

This information and data will be continually monitored by us, and we may periodically contact you to check that the information is up to date and that you still wish to remain on our database and wish to continue doing paid market research.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will remove you from our database and destroy all personal information, data and records we are holding. You are not obliged to give any reason for wanting to do this.
